About My Work
My work explores the legal construction of capitalism at the institutional and ideological levels. I'm particularly interested in understanding money, the medium of exchange, as a mode of material governance, the means by which communities mark and mobilize resources. Much of my work is historical, while some of it attempts to use past practice to illuminate contemporary policy issues. Currently, I'm working to develop a proposal that advocates public credit issue in low income communities.
